This summer we have some very exciting things happening for the STEP Canvassing program! God led in incredible ways last summer, and we are looking forward to further developing this ministry. This summer is going to be another stepping stone toward being able to host a full canvassing program for youth in the Eastern Washington and North Idaho regions. For the summer of 2025, we have been invited by the Michigan Conference to partner with them in training future leaders for the STEP Canvassing program. We are looking for seven devoted, passionate, young adults who are willing to dedicate their summer to training as canvassers and canvassing leaders. This will be a split summer. Our STEP team will travel to Michigan for the first half of the summer, and then travel back to Washington to complete the summer in Spokane Valley. You can be sure that the summer will be filled with learning opportunities, divine appointments, and memories you will never forget! Read more about the details below at each location.
Lansing, MI
From June 1st, 2025 to July 5th, 2025, we will be in Michigan, partnering with Michigan Youth Ruth. We will operate as Youth Ruth and be employed by the Michigan conference.​ This will be with the goal of furthering training and experience for the STEP team so that they can return to Washington and replicate their efforts in our local area. ​​
Finishing our summer off in Spokane Valley from July 6th to August 3rd, 2025, we will be staying at the local SDA church working along side them to reach their community. In addition, we will also be working together to gain leadership training in Literature Evangelism.​​
